Manhattan College Latino Alumni Club

The Manhattan College Latino Alumni Club (MCLAC) was established in April 2000. The mission of the club is to foster a sense of community between any individual and organization whose interest and willingness is to provide support, mentoring and assistance to the interested latino Manhattan College applicant, the latino student and latino graduate of Manhattan College. It will serve the Manhattan College community through active participation in educational, professional, and social activities.

MCLAC Spring 2013 - NYPD Deputy Chief Beltran Presentation

On Tuesday, April 9, 2013, Manhattan College hosted a special evening on campus featuring Deputy Chief Ruben Beltran, Executive Officer, Office of Information Technology of the New York Police Department. Chief Beltran discussed the department's technological advances and practical applications for policing New York City. He also presented a review of the NYPD Crime Data Warehouse, data management processes and discussed the 2012 milestones and future plans and objectives. The event was co-sponsored by the Latino Alumni Club and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
