Gunn Alumni Medal

Joseph J. Gunn ’30 Alumni Medal

Each year, the Manhattan College Alumni Society awards the Joseph J. Gunn ’30 Alumni Medal to the graduating senior who, in the judgment of a joint faculty/alumni selection committee, has made the most significant contribution to Manhattan College during his or her undergraduate years. Many consider this to be the most prestigious award that is given each year. The medal is presented annually by the Alumni Society at the Spring Honors Convocation.

In order to be considered for the Gunn Medal, a student must be nominated by a member of the faculty, staff or administration. The current selection committee co-chairs are Elizabeth Hickey ’99 and Michael DeLuca '02.
