Register for Spanish 320: Cuba in Revolution in Spring 2014 and travel to Havana, Cuba during spring break


Travel to Havana with the group and learn about Cuba today

Cuba in Revolution is a course that examines the various components of Cuban culture and society. The course is designed to critically examine the historical, cultural, social developments that have marked Cuban life. In this intensive course, students should obtain an understanding of the history and culture of Cuba, with special focus on post-revolutionary period (1959 to present).  Students will review and discuss texts and multimedia resources that will prepare them for a better understanding of Cuban reality today.

During Spring Break (March 15-21) students will have the opportunity to travel to Cuba where they will enjoy several excursions and field trips, and work on a research project. This program is open to all students who want to travel to Havana with the group and learn about Cuba today.
