The Promise of Discovery: Where Compassion Meets Innovation

The Lasallian tradition brings an added dimension to the disciplines of discovery. As our planet faces increasing challenges, the answers will come from scientists who value compassion as highly as innovation.

Our faculty are scientists who have earned high praise for their innovative research and their dedication to involving undergraduate students in their work. Research by undergraduate students is an important part of the undergraduate science experience at Manhattan College.Image Here you will benefit from research opportunities most students don’t see until graduate school. Students often work directly with professors on research projects and have the opportunity to publish as co-authors and present at conferences alongside their professors. One third of our graduates pursue advanced degrees at some of the best graduate programs in the nation, while another third enter professional programs such as medical, dental or veterinary school. The remaining students enter the work force immediately after graduation, making the School of Science a school of success.
