Meet some of our students who have gone on to do great things in their post-baccalaureate studies:
Mery Pimental ’10 at her internship in the New Rochelle City Court where she was placed through the New York State Unified Court System's Student Ambassador Program. This was her last day and she was asked by the judge to translate a landlord/tenant dispute when the interpreter was late in arriving. Mery is now a first-year law student at Northeastern University School of Law.
Sophia Rodriguez ’06 graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in May ’10 and is doing her pathology residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. For more on Sophia, go the Fall ’10 edition of Manhattan Magazine.
Jacqueline Hargrove ’11 (3rd from left) with fellow students during a Lasallian Outreach Volunteer Experience (L.O.V.E.) trip to Kenya in winter 2009-10. The group was visiting the Child Discovery Center, an orphanage started by the Lasallian Brothers. Jackie was a finalist for a 2011-12 Fulbright Student Research Scholarship.
Konstantine Rountos ’05 with an Atlantic sturgeon doing research on sturgeon populations from New York harbor to Montauk, L.I. while in his master's program. During this time, he was also the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship to perform research in Greece. Konstantine is currently working on his Ph.D. at SUNY Stony Brook, Institute for Ocean Conservation, SoMAS. For more about Konstantine’s work, go to: http://mysbfiles.stonybrook.edu/~krountos/
