The research course (MBAE 602) provides students with the opportunity for directed study of a topic not otherwise available through the M.B.A. curriculum. The topic may, for example, focus on a specific industry or build on a previous internship experience. The exact structure of the course is determined by the supervising faculty member. The student may act as a faculty members’ research assistant or the faculty member may provide supervision of study that is predominantly left to the student to complete.
The research course is one component of the experiential learning requirement of the M.B.A. program. Students interested in the research course should consult their department chair in order to find a suitable faculty mentor.
Students enrolling in MBAE 602 must complete the Research Application.
